tuberal nuclei

The term tuberal nuclei refers to the combination of the lateral tuberal nuclei and the tuberomammillary nucleus, both of which are in the lateral hypothalamic area. They are found in the human ( Carpenter-1983 ) and the macaque ( Martin-2000 ). See also: tuberal nucleus.
