The term Fibrae parietotemporopontinae represents a fiber pathway that courses through the crus cerebri to connect the parietal lobe and the temporal lobe of the cerebral cortex with the pons. It is not readily distinguished in myelin-stained histological cross-sections ( Riley-1943 ).
