Substratum lacunosum
The term Substratum lacunosum refers to one of four substrata of the molecular layer of the CA fields ( Stephan-1975 ). Subsequent authors combine it with Stephan's Substratum eumoleculare to form the stratum lacunosum moleculare ( Insausti-2012 ). Updated 3 Jun 2024.
