ventromedial division of the accessory basal nucleus (AMGabvm)

The term ventromedial division of the accessory basal nucleus refers to one of three subdivisions of the accessory basal nucleus of the amygdala based on cytoarchitecture and cholinergic markers. The others are the parvicellular division of the accessory basal nucleus and the magnocellular division of the accessory basal nucleus ( Amaral-1992 ).
